The UAE residents can get one of the year's long-weekend. It starts from the Arafah Day and Eid Al Adha as a long public holiday in the UAE.
As per Islamic Hijri calendar Eid Al Adha is the last month of the year. This ongoing year is 1447 Hijri year, The Day of Arafat falls on the ninth of Dhul Hijjah, the day preceding Eid Al Adha.
For resident the Holiday of Eid Al Adha 2026 start from 9th Day of Dhul Hijjah and end on the 3rd of the Eid Al Adha. The date as per Georgian calendar can be confirm only after sighting of the Crecent moon.
Eid Al Adha 2026 holiday for school is declared by The Ministry of Education from 25th of May till 29th of May, which in all can be considered as Nine-day Eid Al Adha for schools.
For residen who had holiday on Saturday and Sunday may also enjoy 9-day Eid Al Adha holiday for the year 2026, only if they will get holiday on Monday 25th of May.
But never forget that we are in The UAE, we never know the surprise from The UAE Government can come as the holiday for Public sector and Private sector start from Monday 25of this may. So now we can pray and hope that we can get gift from the Ministry to enjoy 9 day holiday.
